Throughout the day, UV lamps are used both in the patient reception area and in the examination rooms, and at night, a nebulizer is used to disinfect smooth surfaces and the air.  

The offices and equipment are cleaned and disinfected in accordance with strict protocols, which ensure the safety of both patients and staff.

We strictly adhere to the cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization procedures by using biocidal products approved by the CNPB and CE-certified medical equipment.  Instrument sterilization is performed in a dedicated area using authorized and approved equipment and solutions, in accordance with legal requirements.

 For the removal of deposits from hard-to-reach areas, preliminary cleaning is carried out in an ultrasonic cleaning machine.
This operation must be followed by manual cleaning, disinfection, visual inspection with a magnifying lamp (to validate their hygienic and technical condition), packaging, autoclaving, and storage.

Traceability is ensured by the written recording of all sterilized medical devices. The kit/bag code will be recorded in all sterilization registers, throughout the instrument reprocessing cycle, and will also be included in the patient's medical records.
Traceability is achieved by attaching a type 1 indicator (double-sided adhesive label) that indicates exposure to the sterilization process, and a type 5 chemical integrator indicator, which is placed in each package/container/bag and is used to test all parameters of the sterilization cycle (pressure, time, temperature). The latter is checked when each sterilized package/container is opened. After opening the instrument packages, they are used only once and for a single patient. The indicators are produced in accordance with standard EN ISO 11140-1 and used according to WHO No. 1,761/09/03/2021.

Sterilization is part of the category of special procedures whose results depend on the proper functioning of the equipment used. Therefore, the autoclave is subjected to a daily check, using another type of chemical indicator/test (Bowie & Dick). This is a very sensitive test for checking steam penetration, used to detect dangerous residual air or inert gases in the sterilization chamber, which can jeopardize the sterilization process. Alongside this chemical test, verification is also carried out with a biological test, in the form of plastic vials containing spores from the Bacillus stearothermophilus family, to control the effectiveness of steam sterilization.
The personnel responsible for sterilization are qualified, accredited, and trained periodically.
