2. Scope
These terms and conditions govern medical appointments made exclusive online through the website www.innovationmedical.ro and their advance payment in full and/or in part.
By making an online appointment and paying the fee for the service reservation, the patient confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted this document.
3. Service Description
The online platform allows patients to book services, namely:
select the desired doctor and time slot;
to pay the consultation in full in advance and/or partially from the future medical intervention, through an authorized payment processor;
to receive confirmation of the service booking via email and/or SMS after payment confirmation.
Booking the service becomes farm and guaranteed only after payment confirmation.
4. Prices and Payment Methods
Prices are expressed in lei (RON) and include all applicable taxes.
Payment is made exclusively online, via a secure processor Netopia (Visa/Mastercard).
Innovation Medical Center does not store card data; it is processed encrypted by the payment provider.
After the transaction is completed, the patient receives the fiscal invoice at the email address provided by them.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
5.1. At the patient's initiative
A confirmed service booking cannot be canceled with a refund, as the time slot and related medical resources are exclusively blocked for the patient.
The patient may request One reschedule, if notified in writing (email, SMS, or WhatsApp) with at least 48 hours before of scheduled time. In this case, the payment remains valid.
Following this one-time reschedule, any subsequent modification will incur the full payment of a new consultation and/or a new partial payment for the future medical intervention.
The amount paid is NOT refundable in case of non-attendance, except in cases justified by medical reasons or force majeure.
5.2. At the clinic's initiative
If, for medical, technical, or organizational reasons, the clinic cannot honor the appointment, the patient may opt for:
Rescheduling to a mutually agreed-upon date; or
Full refund of the amount paid within a maximum of 7 business days.
5.3. Force Majeure
Cases of force majeure are considered to be: natural disasters, serious accidents, sudden illnesses, unforeseen situations caused by authorities.
In these situations, the patient can reschedule without additional cost, based on supporting evidence.
6. Right of withdrawal and exceptions
In accordance with OUG 34/2014, the consumer normally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
The exception to the above rule, according to Art. 16 letter a) of OUG 34/2014, is: patient's right to withdraw It does not apply if the performance has begun with the express consent of the consumer (patient), who confirms that they lose this right once performance begins.
By checking the box „Accept Terms and Conditions”before payment, the patient (consumer):
expresses explicit agreement for the performance (booking of the service / scheduling of the consultation/procedure) to begin immediately by blocking the time slot and by booking/making unavailable the chosen doctor for other services;
confirms that they understand and agree to forfeit their right of withdrawal if they do not show up or do not comply with the permitted rescheduling deadline, from the moment they book the service/appointment for consultation/procedure.
7. Scheduling Confirmation
After booking / payment processing, the patient receives at least:
Date, time, and the doctor for which the service was scheduled/booked;
clinic's contact details;
Amount paid and payment method – payment link;
programming details link;
8. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

The data collected is used exclusively for managing scheduling and fulfilling legal obligations.

Storage duration: for the period necessary for the provision of services and thereafter in accordance with legal obligations (e.g., invoice archiving for 10 years).

The patient has the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, by written request to contact@innovationmedical.ro.

9. Dispute Resolution
Complaints can be submitted to contact@innovationmedical.ro by phone +40 753 666 111.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, consumers can contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) – www.anpc.ro – or use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
Disputes will be settled by the competent courts according to the law.
10. Final Provisions
Innovation Medical Center may modify the present terms and conditions with prior notice of at least 15 days, by publishing them on the website.
The updated version of the present terms and conditions applies only to reservations / appointments made after the effective date.
